Tour Overview
Central Asia stretches from the Caspian Sea in the west to the borders of western China in the east. This route introduces four remarkable countries of the region — Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan — combining ancient Silk Road heritage, mountain landscapes and modern city life.
The itinerary includes Tashkent, Samarkand, Iskandarkul Lake, Khujand, Kokand, Margilan, Osh, Bishkek and Almaty. It is a balanced tour for travelers who want culture, history, nature and local experiences in one compact journey.
Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Tashkent
Meals: —
Flight to Tashkent. Arrival at Tashkent Airport, meeting by our staff and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Rest after the flight. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 2 — Tashkent to Samarkand
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Start Tashkent city tour with Khasti Imam Complex, Barakkhan Madrasah and the Museum of Quran, where the original 7th-century Othman Quran is preserved. Explore Tashkent subway, lunch at Plov Centre, visit Minor Mosque and Rakat Mosque. Free time for shopping. Late afternoon train to Samarkand. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and dinner. Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 3 — Samarkand
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast, visit Gur Emir Mausoleum, one of the most significant architectural ensembles of the medieval East. Continue to spectacular Registan Square. Lunch at Plov Centre No. 1. Shopping time, excursion to Meros Paper Mill and carpet factory. Dinner at a restaurant. Optional Registan 7D show at night. Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 4 — Samarkand to Iskandarkul
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Trip to Iskandarkul in Tajikistan through the Penjikent border. Meet the Tajik guide and explore the Tajik mountainside and Iskandarkul Lake, a tranquil gem in the Fann Mountains. Enjoy a walk around the lake, mountain views and nearby waterfall, or visit a local family to experience Tajik hospitality. Dinner. Overnight near Iskandarkul.
Day 5 — Iskandarkul to Khujand
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Breakfast and journey to Khujand through Shakhriston Tunnel and the beautiful Zarafshon Valley. Enjoy majestic views of the Fann Mountains. Upon arrival, city tour of Khujand: central colorful bazaar, plov masterclass, lunch, House Museum of Anora, Lenin Statue, Arbob Palace and the statue of Ismaili Somoni. Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in Khujand.
Day 6 — Khujand, Kokand and Margilan
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast, short drive to cross the Konibodom border and continue to Kokand in Uzbekistan. Visit Khudayar Khan Palace, one of the last great buildings of Islamic architecture in the region. If available, visit grape gardens. Continue to Margilan and visit the Silk Factory. Check in at the hotel and dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in Margilan.
Day 7 — Margilan, Asaka and Osh
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Breakfast at the hotel. Shopping at the oriental bazaar. Short drive to Asaka to visit Chontak chaykhana for a cooking masterclass and lunch. Transfer to Osh in Kyrgyzstan through the Dustlik border. Border control, meeting with the Kyrgyz driver and short transfer to the hotel. Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in Osh.
Day 8 — Osh to Bishkek
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Breakfast at the hotel. Journey to Kara-Koi resort with mountain landscapes often compared to Switzerland. Lunch at traditional yurts and time to enjoy the area. Return to the airport for the flight to Bishkek, approximately 40 minutes. Arrive in Bishkek and check in at the hotel. Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in Bishkek.
Day 9 — Bishkek and Ala-Archa National Park
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Breakfast. Drive to Ala-Archa National Park, an alpine national park in the Tian Shan mountains of Kyrgyzstan. Lunch at a restaurant. Sightseeing tour of Bishkek: Philharmonic, statue of Kyrgyz National Hero Manas, Ala-Too Square and shopping at TSUM. Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in Bishkek.
Day 10 — Bishkek to Almaty
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Morning transfer to Almaty through the Kordai border, approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Upon arrival, Almaty layover tour starts with Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral — the oldest wooden building of the city, built without metal nails — and the Memorial Complex dedicated to World War II with its eternal flame. Dinner. Overnight in Almaty.
Day 11 — Departure from Almaty
Meals: Breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time. At 11:00 check out from the hotel and transfer to Almaty International Airport for the departure flight. Khayir sogh buliniz — traditional farewell and good wishes. End of tour.

Central Asia Travel Notes
When to Travel
Kazakhstan: Spring and autumn are ideal, with mild temperatures and low rainfall. Summers are hot, while winters can be cold, especially in the north.
Kyrgyzstan: Best from June to September for trekking and outdoor activities, with warm days and minimal rain.
Uzbekistan: Spring and autumn offer pleasant weather. Summers are very hot, while winters are cooler.
Tajikistan: March to October usually offers passable roads and pleasant temperatures, especially for mountain routes and exploring the Fann Mountains.
Visa, Registration and Customs
