Tour Overview
Central Asia is a vast region stretching from the Caspian Sea in the west to the borders of western China in the east. This itinerary introduces three remarkable countries of the region — Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan — with their contrasting landscapes, capitals, markets, Silk Road architecture and warm local traditions.
The tour is ideal for travelers who want to experience several countries in one journey without making the route too long: modern Almaty, green Bishkek, ancient Uzbek cities, traditional bazaars and famous monuments of Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand.
Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Almaty
Meals: —
Flight to Almaty. Arrival at Almaty International Airport, meeting with the driver and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and rest after the flight. Overnight in Almaty.
Day 2 — Almaty City Tour
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast, start the Almaty sightseeing tour with Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, the Memorial Complex dedicated to World War II and its eternal flame. Visit the Green Bazaar, a lively place for souvenirs, sweets and local products. Dinner at a local restaurant. Free time in the evening. Overnight in Almaty.
Day 3 — Almaty to Bishkek
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Take-away breakfast. Morning transfer to Bishkek through the Kordai border. Upon arrival, accommodation and luggage drop-off at the hotel. Sightseeing tour of Bishkek: Statue of Kyrgyz National Hero Manas, Ala-Too Square, Monument of Independence, Old Square and shopping at TSUM. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Bishkek.
Day 4 — Bishkek, Osh, Fergana Valley and Tashkent
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Early breakfast at the hotel. At 08:00 take a domestic flight to Osh. Arrival and drive to the Dustlik border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. After border formalities, continue to Asaka for lunch at Chontak. Trip to Margilan and visit the Silk Factory. Transfer to Tashkent by express train, approximately 16:05–21:10. Take-away dinner, arrival and hotel check-in. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 5 — Tashkent to Bukhara
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion in Tashkent: Khasti Imam Complex, where the original 7th-century Othman Quran written on deer skin is preserved. Visit Minor Mosque, lunch at Plov Centre, Museum of Victims of Political Repression and the beautifully decorated Tashkent metro. At 19:40 take the bullet train to Bukhara, approximately 4 hours 15 minutes. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight in Bukhara.
Day 6 — Bukhara
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Free time until 10:00. Start the Old Bukhara walking city tour: Mir Arab Madrasah, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Poi-Kalyan Complex and Lyabi-Khauz Ensemble. Shopping time and dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in Bukhara.
Day 7 — Bukhara to Samarkand
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue the Bukhara tour with Bolo Khauz and the Samanids Mausoleum. After lunch, transfer to Samarkand by express train, approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Dinner at a restaurant. Free time at the evening show at Registan Square. Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 8 — Samarkand to Tashkent
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Full-day sightseeing in Samarkand, including the Gur-i-Emir Mausoleum, the resting place of Tamerlane, and Registan Square, one of the greatest architectural ensembles of the Silk Road. Lunch at a restaurant. Free time for shopping. Late afternoon bullet train to Tashkent, approximately 2 hours 20 minutes. Upon arrival, hotel accommodation. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 9 — Departure from Tashkent
Meals: Breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until check-out. Short drive to Tashkent International Airport for the departure flight. Khayir sogh buliniz — traditional Uzbek farewell and good wishes. End of tour.

Central Asia Travel Notes
When to Travel
Kazakhstan: Spring, April–May, and autumn, September–October, are ideal, with mild temperatures and low rainfall. Summers are hot, while winters can be cold, especially in the north.
Kyrgyzstan: Best from June to September for trekking and outdoor activities, with warm days and minimal rain. Winters are colder in mountain areas.
Uzbekistan: Spring, April–June, and autumn, September–October, offer pleasant weather and low rainfall. Summers are very hot, while winters can be cool.
Visa Policy
Kazakhstan: Many travelers, including citizens of the U.S., Canada, EU countries, Australia and Japan, can enter visa-free for short stays. Passport validity and visa rules should be checked before travel.
Kyrgyzstan: Visa-free entry is available for many nationalities for tourism or business. Other travelers may apply for an e-visa or visa on arrival at Manas International Airport.
Uzbekistan: Visa-free entry is available for many nationalities for single-entry stays up to 30 days. Other travelers may require an e-visa or consular visa.
Registration, Customs and Health
