Day 1 · Arrival in Almaty

Direct flight to Almaty. Khush keldiniz means welcome! Arrival, meeting with the driver and hotel check-in. Overnight in Almaty.

Day 2 · Almaty City Tour

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Start the Almaty city tour with Panfilov Park, named after the 28 heroes who died for the freedom and independence of the country. Visit Zenkov Cathedral, one of the oldest wooden buildings in the city, the World War II Memorial with eternal flame and Green Bazaar. Dinner and overnight in Almaty.

Day 3 · Almaty, Charyn Canyon and Saty

After breakfast, transfer to Charyn Canyon. On the way, enjoy different canyon shapes and take a short walk with time to rest in the canyon. Continue to Saty village. Upon arrival, accommodation and dinner at the guesthouse. Overnight in Saty.

Day 4 · Kolsai Lake and Kaindy Lake

After breakfast, enjoy Kolsai Lake with clear blue waters surrounded by peaceful conifer forests. Continue to Kaindy Lake, known for its vivid turquoise water and the trunks of submerged trees rising from the lake. Return to Saty for free time, a leisurely walk or a visit to a local family to experience Kazakh hospitality. Overnight in Saty.

Day 5 · Saty, Issyk Lake and Esik

After breakfast, transfer to Issyk Lake near Esik town. Issyk Lake is a picturesque alpine lake surrounded by forests, flower fields and mountain scenery. Visit the Golden Man statue and check in at a Kazakh guesthouse. Enjoy a walk around the lake, mountain views, nearby waterfall area or a local family visit. Overnight at a guesthouse near Esik.

Day 6 · Esik, Almaty and Departure

Breakfast at the guesthouse. Visit Kok Tobe Hills, known for panoramic views of Almaty and the mountains. Take the cable car down, have lunch, visit President Park and enjoy free time for shopping. At 17:00, transfer to the international airport for the flight home. End of tour.

Best Time to Visit

Spring from April to May and autumn from September to October are ideal for mountains, lakes and Almaty city. Summer is warm and good for hiking, while winter is suitable for skiing near Almaty.
