Flight to Tashkent. Khush kelibsiz means welcome! Arrival at Tashkent Airport, meeting with the driver and transfer to the hotel. Dinner, time to buy snacks and evening sightseeing in Tashkent, when the capital shows its illuminated night atmosphere. Overnight in Tashkent.
After breakfast, visit Khasti Imam Complex with Barak-Khan Madrasah and the Museum of Quran, where the original 7th-century Othman Quran written on deer skin is preserved. Explore the Tashkent subway, have lunch at the Plov Centre, then visit Minor Mosque and Rakat Mosque or enjoy a walking tour around Amir Timur Square, Broadway and Independence Square. Late afternoon flight to Khiva and hotel check-in. Dinner and overnight in Khiva.
After breakfast, start a guided excursion in Itchan Kala. Visit Kunya-Ark Citadel, Alauddin Khan Mausoleum, Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum and Juma Mosque, one of the central landmarks of old Khiva. Dinner and overnight in Khiva.
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Continue the ancient Khiva city tour, with Nurillabay Palace and Mamun Academy available as optional visits. After lunch, transfer to Bukhara by train or by flight for an extra charge. Travel through the Kyzylkum Desert, along the Amu Darya River and open landscapes. Arrival and hotel accommodation in Bukhara.
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Start a walking sightseeing tour in Bukhara. Visit Ark Fortress, the historic residence of Bukhara khans, Kalon Ensemble, one of the outstanding monuments of Bukhara, and Miri-Arab Madrasah with its two blue domes rising above the old city. Overnight in Bukhara.
Breakfast. Continue sightseeing with Bolo Khauz, Chashmai Ayub and the Samanids Mausoleum. Optional visits to Sitorai Mokhi Khossa and Varnet Garden are available for an extra charge. Transfer to the railway station and take the express train to Samarkand. Arrival, accommodation and dinner. Overnight in Samarkand.
After breakfast, start a Samarkand city tour. Visit Gur Emir Mausoleum, spectacular Registan Square, Shah-i-Zinda complex and Khazrati Khizr. On request, guests can also visit a carpet shop or Konigil Paper Mill. Late afternoon transfer to Tashkent by high-speed train. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport. Khayir sogh buling — Uzbek traditional farewell and good wishes.
